The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office has teamed up with Santa’s SWAT team and are hot on the trail of the infamous Grinch who has been snowbirding in the Rock Springs area. Believe it or not, it is much nicer there this time of year than Mount Crumpit. A special warrant has been issued for his arrest. According to a Monday press release, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s deputies, in collaboration with North Pole authorities, received authorization to arrest the Grinch and deliver him to the Christmas Spirit Tribunal. Terms of the bench warrant command local deputies, in partnership with and as official agents of Santa’s Warrant Apprehension Team (SWAT), to locate and arrest the Grinch immediately to answer for the following outrageous offenses: Larceny of Christmas Cheer, Breaking and Entering, Motor Vehicle Theft, Conspiracy Against Christmas, Evading Arrest, and Onion Breath. If convicted, the Grinch faces up to 100 years of mandatory caroling, a lifetime ban on onion consumption, and 10,000 hours of community service wrapping presents under the watchful eyes of mall elves.
