Governor Bumps Up Eligibility for 65 and Older to Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

Governor Spencer Cox announced Thursday the opening of eligibility for COVID-19 vaccinations for 65 years and older individuals in Utah. Eligibility for those with underlying health conditions is set for March 1st. The TriCounty Health Department will be moving the Vernal vaccination location from the Vernal TriCounty Health Department office to the Uintah Conference Center starting Tuesday, February 23rd. Please do NOT call the Uintah Conference Center to make appointments. Instead visit tricountyhealth.com/local-covid-update. Scroll to COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution and click the link at your closest location. A larger location in Roosevelt will be announced as soon as one is available. Roosevelt’s appointments for COVID-19 vaccine continue at the TriCounty Health Department Roosevelt office. TriCounty Health is currently vaccinating 65 years old and older individuals, healthcare workers, first responders and K-12 educators.
