A Duchesne County teenager has a long road to recovery after being hit head on by a drunk driver in the Roosevelt area last week. The family has shared that 17-year-old Haylee Carter of Bluebell suffered major injuries to her femur, arms, and wrists. “First responders had to use the jaws of life to remove Haylee from her truck,” shares the family. “She was later life- flighted to Primary Children’s to receive further care.” A GoFundMe has been set up for the purpose of helping the family with medical bills.
