Organizers of the Gobbler Thanksgiving 5K have announced the recipients of this year’s race. Tracy Webster was diagnosed with incurable Stage 4 stomach cancer in March. Tracy has his beautiful wife Alicia of 21 years. They have three children, Karsen (19), Reagan (18) and Bransen (15). Their family spends a lot of time supporting the community and building people up and now it is the community’s chance to send love and support in return. The other recipient of the Gobbler 5K is equally deserving. At 3 years old, little Lula Beth Bowden was diagnosed with Stage 2 Wilms Kidney Cancer and had to have a cancerous football sized tumor removed. After 13 rounds of Chemo, Lula Beth is now thankfully cancer free and it’s time to help this family recover both emotionally and financially. Online registration for this year’s Gobbler 5K opened October 1st and will be open until Thanksgiving Day, the day of the race. For more information and to register, visit www.gobbler5k.com.
