TriCounty Health Department has a convenient way to help families keep their vaccinations current that prevent illness in children, adolescents and adults. TriCounty Health RN Keith Walker is making plans for the mobile vaccine clinic to be traveling throughout the region starting in April. In the past, TriCounty Health used a trailer for the mobile clinic but last year they upgraded the mobile clinic to an RV. It has plenty of room with exam tables, equipment, and a fridge for vaccines, shares Walker. In April, the new mobile vaccine clinic will be visiting outlying areas including Altamont, Manila, Dutch John, Naples, Davis, Jensen, and Ballard. The clinic aims to make it easy for families to stay current on vaccine schedules. Vaccinations offered include varicella, MMR, Hep A, Hep B, Pertussis, Polio, HPV, Tdap, and more. More information will be shared next month.
