Generous hearts will collide with country fun this Friday at the annual KLIC Fundraiser at Duchesne High School. KLIC stands for Keeping Love in the Community and that is exactly what the charity organization has done for the last 7 years. The nonprofit organization raises money to support Basin families affected by cancer. “We help pay for utilities, hotel rooms, gas vouchers or anything to help,” shares Nikki Coil, whose family started the KLIC annual cancer walk 7 years ago. “My dad’s mom battled breast cancer and passed away. We had a lot of support through the community and wanted to give that support as well.” In 7 years, the organization has never turned anyone away and the generosity of the community will help them continue their quest to lighten the burden on Basin families currently suffering from cancer. The fundraiser starts Friday at 6pm. There will be entertainment, food, an auction, raffle, and cornhole tournament. For more information, find KLIC on Facebook.
