Friday is the deadline to turn in your homemade Valentine’s cards for the 6th Annual Cards For Kids At Heart project. KLCY morning show host and event organizer Amy Richards is encouraging all to take the time to make some special cards that will be delivered to senior citizens throughout the region to brighten their Valentine’s holiday. There’s been some awesome donations so far but more are needed! “There are 801 seniors to deliver to this year,” shares Amy, “and I would love to give each one of them 3 or 4 cards.” The deadline to drop off the homemade cards is February 5th. Drop off locations include Realty One Group and the KLCY/Fox studio on North Vernal Avenue and Subway in Roosevelt.
