Get ready to Kick The Dust Up at the 2024 Duchesne County Fair this coming week. While there are all the typical fair activities planned, here are a few reminders of unique offerings at the fair. The Baby Show will be held at the Barn on August 6th at 10am. Today is the last day to register your baby ages 0 to 4. The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Competition will be held Saturday, August 10th at 3pm. This combines fast horses and fast guns for an exciting competition reminiscent of the old west! The old-fashioned horse pull is also happening on the 10th with teams from Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming competing in 3 weight divisions. “It’s amazing to watch these animals use all the muscle they have to pull the weight,” shares the announcement. “They have pulled weight up to 12,000 pounds.” These are just a few examples of the fun being offered.
