There is Christmas cheer to be found in the Roosevelt area, in the form of holiday light shows and displays. A yearly tradition, Bill and Tammie Pierce’s Holiday Light Show, is put together for the community so that families can be surrounded by the wonderful holiday spirit. The show is located at 3840 North and 1000 West. Travel up the Neola Highway and just past mile marker 4 turn on the first road you can take a right on. Follow the road one fourth of a mile into a little valley and you’ll see the display. People can park and walk through the lights or tune their radio to watch the lights set to Christmas music. Lights are turned on when it gets dark and go until 10pm. The Pierce’s Holiday Light Show is a true labor of love that starts with a spooky Halloween display through October before switching out for a Christmas extravaganza!
