The Vernal community has been thoroughly entertained for another year as Vernal Theatre: LIVE ends their third season. We have enjoyed such shows as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Wait Until Dark, Christmas Carol, Nunsense, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Bye Bye Birdie. Although Season 3 is over there is still a lot going on. This Saturday the theatre will have the Dry Bar Comedy Tour, stand-up comedy for all ages. In June is the Triple Threat Workshop, a week long theater learning experience. There are five scholarships available and applications need to be turned in by
May 15th.
The theater is also having another junior production, this time High School Musical Jr. Auditions will be
July 8th
for children ages 8 to 16. Those interested in the production side, ages 14-18, can apply today to receive early training. We can let the anticipation build through summer as we look forward to Season 4 that will open with the wild Roald Dahl tale of Matilda in musical form. For more information, visit
