Local school districts are offering free summer lunch at locations throughout the Uintah Basin. In Duchesne County School District, summer lunch will be available Mondays through Thursdays starting June 5th and running through July 27th. The summer lunch sites will be East Elementary, Centennial Elementary, Duchesne Elementary, and Myton Elementary. Each location will serve lunch from 11:30am to 12:15pm. In Uintah School District, the free summer lunch program will be held Mondays through Fridays starting June 1st and running through July 20th. Meals will be served from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Ashley Elementary. For all the schools, federal regulations require meals to be eaten on site. The meals are free to all kids ages 18 and under. Please note that all sites will be closed July 3rd, 4th, and 24th.
