Fourth of July in Uintah Basin

Here is a rundown on the activities taking place across the Uintah Basin on July Fourth. In Duchesne City there will be a Lions Club Breakfast from 7am to 10am at Wallace Park. The parade takes place at 10:30am on Main Street. The fun heads to Roy Park where there will be a Patriotic Program at 12pm followed by the Water Park and activities from 12:30pm to 4pm. Run to the Duchesne City Pool for a free swim from 1 to 3pm. At Roy Park there will be a Talent Show at 5pm, then a free concert at 7pm with fireworks at 10pm. Roosevelt City will have an American Legion Flag Retirement Ceremony at 8am at the Walking Path parking lot at Constitution Park. At the same location at 9am is the Veterans Flag Ceremony. At 9:15 is the Roosevelt City Color Fun Run. There will be activities throughout the day and then at the Constitution Park Stage at 5:30 is the opening act with Mark Winterton, comedy by Max Winterton, and music by Delroy with the concert by Mark Mackay and CJ Solar starting at 7:30pm. The fireworks show starts at 10pm. In Vernal the FreedomFest starts at 7am with the Firecracker 5k. The parade starts at 10am down Main Street. At 12pm fun starts at Ashley Valley Community Park. From 5pm to 10pm there will be live music with headliner David Morris. The fireworks show starts at 10pm.
