With so many families coming up short month to month, having full shelves at the local food pantries is more important than ever. Thanks to the recent 4th annual UPA Shoot Out Hunger Food Drive, those shelves are a bit fuller. The Uintah Basin Association of Governments shared that this year, the participating energy companies brought in an amazing 26,131 pounds of food! This year’s winners were Javelin Energy and Tracy Williams Lightning T in 1st place, XCL Resources in 2nd place, and Finley/Uinta Wax in 3rd place. Ovintiv and Badlands Trucking also made great donations this year. UBAOG expressed their appreciation for all who participated this year and stated that the donations will make a huge difference in fighting hunger throughout the Uintah Basin!
