The crews of Uintah Special Service District 1 continue to mitigate flooding on Dinaland Golf Course though thankfully it is the only flooding issue they are currently dealing with. “We did a pretty good inventory of our infrastructure in February and decided that we were not in jeopardy of any other flooding,” explains SSD1 Director Cheryl Meier. “Hopefully after this weekend and high water being over we will see it subside.” Meier says they have plans to design water structures as part of the holes that can take on the water and not lose any holes from flooding in the future. They plan to explore those long term solutions in the Fall.
