The Dollar Ridge Burn Scar has been issued a Flash Flood Warning through the National Weather Service Salt Lake City office. The warning is valid through Monday at 5:15pm and anyone in that area is encouraged to move to higher ground and stay away from the burn scar area. The area spans the burn scar in Wasatch County and Duchesne County. Rain that hit the burn scar already made an impact on downstream areas. Debris flow is anticipated on the Strawberry River from any further rain over the burn scar which runs off very quickly, potentially causing hazardous conditions. Drivers are always urged to avoid flooded roads and to not even try to cross them as it is often much more dangerous than it appears.
