The Flaming Gorge Ranger District has named an interim District Ranger. Marshall Alford is filling the shoes of District Ranger for the next few months as the district seeks to permanently fill the position. The previous District Ranger, Curt Booher, recently accepted a position in Oregon. Alford came from the Salt Lake Ranger District where he was the district recreation staff officer for the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. His degree is in Natural Resource Management from Colorado State University. Be sure to welcome Marshall Alford as he serves as the District Ranger for the Flaming Gorge Ranger District.
