Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area Management Plan Revised

The Ashley National Forest is seeking public input for the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area Plan and will hold public scoping meetings to seek public input to the draft management plan for the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. “This plan will work in coordination with the Forest Plan to guide management activities to meet the expected recreational needs of visitors while sustaining the health of the landscape and ecosystem that attracts users to the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area,” shares the announcement. “The new management plan will be written in compliance with the 2012 Planning Rule and be coordinated with the new Forest Plan.” Meetings are being held at the Uintah Conference Center in Vernal on December 13th at 5pm, at the Daggett County Facility in Manila on December 14th at 5pm, and at White Mountain Library in Rock Springs on December 15th at 3:30pm.
