The increase of COVID cases is widespread and affecting the operation of many businesses and agencies. Ashley National Forest announced on Tuesday that the Flaming Gorge District Ranger Office will temporarily be closed until February 8th due to a recent increase in COVID-19 cases within the district. “While the office itself is closed, information and services are still available as employees will be working remotely during this time,” shares the announcement. “For general information or to speak with a Forest Service representative, you can call the district at 435-784-3445.” Kiosks outside the Ranger Office have information and maps available. Recreation passes can be purchased from local vendors. For a complete list of vendors, visit the Ashley National Forest Facebook page.
