Robin Bassett, Kim Cook, Crissy Knibbe, Ellen Nelson, and Donnie Woods are this
year’s featured ladies for “Admire the Survivors”. Uintah Basin Healthcare has shared the
stories of these strong women with the community and hope all will take a moment to
listen. A reason for the “Admire the Survivors” campaign is to raise awareness of breast
cancer. In 2023, an estimated 298,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be
diagnosed in the US, yet there are nearly 4 million breast cancer survivors! Early
detection is key. Not only is the campaign meant to educate on the importance of
preventative screenings, it is also meant to inspire women to feel comfortable in their
