Fishing is a great social distancing activity and with the start of Fishing With The Fox it’s also one that can win you some extra cash and prizes! This is the 10th year of Fishing with the Fox hosted by the Division of Wildlife Resources and 98.5 The Fox. “We encourage anglers — local and far — to fish at one of the three designated bodies of water (don’t forget to social distance) and catch one of the hundreds of tagged fish in the Uintah Basin,” shares the DWR. The DWR has tagged 600 rainbow trout that have been stocked 275 into Moon Lake, 275 into Matt Warner, and 50 into Moose Pond. Catch a tagged fish between now and August 2nd, register the information online and be entered in the final drawing for big prizes. The prize drawing will happen August 6th at the park in front of the Uintah County Library. Tags and registration tickets need to be delivered to one of the drop box locations at either Stewart’s Ace or the DWR Office. For more information, visit the event on Facebook and tune in to 98.5 The Fox. .
