The public’s help is sought in identifying a robbery suspect. Roosevelt City Police Department reports that at 8:53 p.m. on February 8th, the Roosevelt City Police Department responded to a robbery at the Top Stop located at 201 South Main Street in Roosevelt. “The suspect came into the convenience store with their hood up and face covered and brandished a firearm at the clerk while demanding cash from the register. The suspect’s firearm was discharged during the robbery, but no one was injured. The Roosevelt City Police Department is seeking the help of the public in identifying the suspect and is requesting that residents and businesses in the area review any camera footage they may have.” Images of the suspect are shared on the Roosevelt City Police Department Facebook page and with this story on BasinNow.com.
