Many community members have been deeply concerned about a local Doctor who suffered extreme health problems after becoming ill with COVID-19 early this year but some great news has come through this week. Dr. Daniel Kwak, local pediatrician and owner of DinosaurLand Pediatrics, has returned home after many months spent in a rehabilitation therapy facility after suffering massive strokes while on a ventilator due to complications from COVID-19. While there may be a variety of opinions about the COVID-19 vaccinations, Dr. Kwak was quick to share his feelings after experiencing what he has the last few months. He shared the following during a video posted by Dr. Breitenbach on social media: “We really love all of our friends and family and right now everybody is suffering,” shared Dr. Kwak. “We would just promote and plead, if possible, please get the vaccine so that you and your family do not have to go through what I went through and what my wife and the rest of our family went through when I got sick. So if possible, please please get the vaccine.” Dr. Kwak indicated he hopes to get back to Dinosaurland Pediatrics very soon.
