This is the third year for a patriotic tradition as the Field of Flags returns this year to the Walking Park in Vernal. The flag field will be set up on Tuesday, June 28th and flown until Tuesday, July 5th. “The community is invited to walk the field with over 700 American Flags and reflect on our freedoms, patriotism and those who have sacrificed for our freedoms,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. Veterans can be honored at the field with a yellow ribbon with a donation of $10. Ribbons can be dedicated at dinosaurlandfreedomfest.com. Volunteers are welcome to help set up and take down the flag field at 6pm on June 28th and July 5th.
