Non-resident boaters who come to Utah have a few extra steps they’ll need to take before hitting the water. As of July 1st, there is now a $20 annual fee for any boat that is not registered in Utah and is brought over state lines to launch. Non-resident boaters will also have to take a quick certification course that will reiterate the importance of keeping invasive species out of the state of Utah. For more information, visit STDofTheSea.Utah.Gov. The required course can be completed at Wildlife.Utah.Gov/Boater_Course
