An investigation is underway after a shooting in Fort Duchesne that took one man’s life on Saturday. According to FBI spokeswoman Sandra Barker, a 55-year-old male from Vernal was shot and killed
at about 6pm on Saturday evening
. Barker also shared that a 36-year-old male member of the Ute Tribe is in tribal custody. BIA and the FBI are investigating the killing.
