Fatal Four Wheeler Crash on Seep Ridge Road in Uintah County

A fatal ATV crash remains under investigation in Uintah County. The Uintah County Sheriff’s Office shared Sunday night that a 52-year-old Taylorsville man died after the four wheeler he was operating crashed in southern Uintah County on October 2nd. “On 7:30 p.m. Friday night, emergency crews were dispatched to an ATV accident near milepost 6 on Seep Ridge Road involving two four wheelers,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “Investigators learned that one four wheeler was towing another disabled four wheeler when the accident occurred. As the first four wheeler slowed down and moved to the side of the road as another vehicle passed, it caused the four wheeler being towed to begin to whip. The first four wheeler went onto its side, causing the driver to be thrown under the ATV. The driver was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the ATV being towed sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.” Authorities have not yet released the name of the crash victim.
