One person is dead after a crash in Uintah County on Friday. According to Utah Highway Patrol, dispatch notified Highway Patrol of a head on collision on SR-45 near mile marker 32 at approximately 8:32pm on October 28th at the Green River bridge about 10 miles south of Naples. “A white Mitsubishi Lancer was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line into the northbound lane and struck a white Chevrolet Silverado head-on,” shares UHP. “The single-occupant driver of the Lancer was not wearing a seat belt and sustained fatal injuries on impact. The single-occupant driver of the Silverado and sole occupant was treated on the scene and was released without significant injury.” The UHP report states that the crash is still under investigation.
