Farmer’s Feeding Utah is coming to the Uintah Basin and an effort is underway to gather donations for the cause. So far $18,000 dollars have been raised for the Duchesne County Food Project with a goal of reaching $25,000 dollars. Farmers Feeding Utah will be in Duchesne on May 19th for their next food distribution. The event is taking place at the Duchesne County Centennial Event Center from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Those that can use it are encouraged to come pick up some farm fresh food from Utah’s farmers and ranchers. Local organizers are asking for help to spread the word to those in the area who may be in need of food assistance.
