A  family is offering a reward for information that might lead them to the individual who shot their horse last weekend. Clay Mckeachnie shares that on Sunday, September 15th, it was discovered that his horse ‘Boss’ had been gut shot in Whetrock Canyon in the Bookcliffs. Mckeachnie says they have reported the incident to law enforcement but with little information to go on, the family is following up on leads themselves. Boss was taken to the vet and may make a recovery though only time will tell. If anyone has information about who shot Boss or were in the area in the Bookcliffs last weekend and has any tips, they are welcome to call (970)640-7281. The family is offering a $5,000 dollar reward.
