Fall has Arrived at Dinosaur National Monument Along With New Hours

Trees are changing color and migrating birds are making their way through Dinosaur National Monument, signalling that fall is here and with it so are new visitor center hours and services. On the Utah side of the monument, the Quarry visitor center and exhibit hall are now open daily
from 9am to 5pm
. On the Colorado side of the monument, the Canyon Visitor Center is open
9am to 5pm
through this week then will be open
9:30am to 4:30pm
through October 15th
after which it will be closed for the season. Campgrounds will also begin closing for the season or going into winter operations. Those that visit the monument are urged to come prepared for unpredictable weather that can change rapidly. For more information on the latest at the monument, visit
