At the recent Vernal Chamber of Commerce meeting, Charlene Chapman gave a report on the “tremendously successful” Extreme Bull Riding event. It was a very unique opportunity for Vernal as there are a limited number of cities the Extreme Bull Riding event goes to. Vernal had the top 80 bull riders in the PRCA visiting to participate. The event was important for these riders as the results contribute to the PRCA standings. The Cowboy Channel was there covering the event. The hope was to fill the seats but expectations were exceeded as there was standing room only for both nights. Chapman thanked the businesses and sponsors who went way above and beyond to help make the event a huge success. Plans are already underway for next year which is anticipated to be bigger and even better.
