Thankfully no injuries were reported in an explosion and fire that occurred at Integrated Water Management on Blue Bench outside of Duchesne
on Friday morning
. According to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, emergency crews responded to the report sometime
around 9:50am
. State Road 87 was never closed due to the fire but the public was asked to watch for emergency vehicles. Firefighters were mopping up and working on overhaul operations by
1:30pm
. No injuries were reported and information on the cause of the explosion and fire were not made available. Altamont and Tabiona Fire Departments assisted Duchesne Volunteer Fire Department. The Utah State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident.
