Try Ice Fishing this Winter!

If you haven't tried ice fishing. It's quickly becoming a favorite for many people who have been cooped up this winter. Ice fishing is a fun activity that the whole family can enjoy. Of course, having the proper winter gear can make all the difference in staying warm and enjoying your time out on the ice. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources recommends those who are trying ice fishing for the first time to target yellow perch. Most beginning ice fishermen are successful at landing a yellow perch because they are easier to catch through the ice. DWR recommends traveling to Big Sandwash Reservoir to see if you could land that big fish! As always be cautious on the ice and have fun!
