The Duchesne County Centennial Event Center is certainly fulfilling its mission as an excellent location for community events and unique opportunities. Plenty of both are included in an upcoming event aimed at community members throughout the Basin and beyond. Duchesne’s First Annual Cowboy Christmas is a combined 2 day shopping and entertainment event. Utah Miniature Bull Riders Association are providing the entertainment along with Utah’s Mounted Thunder cowboy action shooters, Jackpot Bull Riding, cowboy singer Benjamin Dehart and of course Santa will be in attendance enjoying the bull riding action. Local events like this and Roosevelt’s annual Holly Fair are needed by local vendors, shares Duchesne County Economic Development Director Irene Hansen. Hand crafted items not only make special Christmas presents but also helps the struggling local economy when the purchase is made from a local vendor. The First Annual Cowboy Christmas is being held

December 9th and 10th
