EPA Trainings On Proposed Rule To Reduce Pollutants From Oil and Gas Industry

The Environmental Protection Agency is hosting online trainings on their proposed rule to ‘Reduce Methane and other Harmful Pollutants from the Oil and Natural Gas Industry’. According to the event announcement, the training will provide background information on the oil and gas production process; an overview of the proposed rules; panel discussions with environmental justice communities, tribes, and small business stakeholders; and information on how to effectively engage in the regulatory process. It says the event “will be open to the public, however, the targeted audiences are communities/environmental justice stakeholders, tribes, and small business stakeholders.” The meetings, scheduled for November 16th through the 18th, will be held on Zoom and are free to the public.
