Environmental Groups File Lawsuit Over Leases Near DNM

A group of environmentalist organizations has filed a lawsuit targeting a BLM decision to issue oil and gas leases on land near Dinosaur National Monument. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the Plaintiffs are listed as Rocky Mountain Wild, National Parks Conservation Association, Center for Biological Diversity, and Wildearth Guardians. The lawsuit is aimed at the Bureau of Land Management and Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke. The complaint primarily focuses on air quality and the alleged impacts these new oil and gas leases would have.
