The Department of Workforce Services has released updated employment data. Employment for October increased by 3.1 percent over the year landing Utah’s current job count at 1,690,000. Daggett County employment registered at 448. Duchesne County employment registered at 8,399. And Uintah County employment registered at 13,556. This was a small increase in employment for Duchesne County and small decrease for Daggett County and Uintah County. DWS Chief Economist Mark Knold reports that Utah’s economy continues to be one of the nation’s best performing state economies. Updated unemployment data is expected to be released this week.
