Updated data sharing Utah’s employment for January 2025 shows that employment increased an estimated 1.9% across the past 12 months, with the state’s economy adding a cumulative 32,800 jobs since January 2024. The Department of Workforce Services reports that Utah’s current job count stands at 1,748,000. Employment data released on March 12th shows that Daggett County employment is 337 which is up by 14 compared to a year ago. Duchesne County reported employment at 8,912 which is up 112 compared to a year ago and Uintah County reported employment at 15,449 which is up 719 compared to a year ago. An unemployment update from the Department of Workforce Services is expected to be released this week.
