Utah’s nonfarm payroll employment for November 2023 increased an estimated 2% across the past 12 months, with the state’s economy adding a cumulative 34,700 jobs since November 2022. Utah’s current job count stands at 1,744,100. “Utah remains in a job-growth mode centered around the 2% range,” shares DWS Chief Economist Mark Knold. “This is slightly below the state’s long-term average and the economy has rotated around this focal point for the past several months.” Employment for Daggett County was 362 which was down from 420 the month before. Duchesne County employment was 8,930 which was up from 8,861 the month before. Uintah County employment was 14,851 which was up from 14,741 the month before.
