The Vernal Elks Lodge had a great time hosting the Journey of Hope riders on Wednesday, June 28th. Anthony Christianson with the Elks Lodge shares that this is an annual event that comes through Vernal on a trip from the west coast to Washington DC where they raise awareness for people with disabilities.” This Northern Route team started in San Francisco on June 7th and will end in DC on August 12th. They left Vernal on Thursday and headed for Craig. The Elks Lodge provided them with dinner and a place to sleep in the lodge before they continued their important journey.
