This month is a great time to clear out the old, especially when bringing in the new. The Vernal Chamber announced that the annual Electronics Recycling event will begin on January 4th and run through January 30th. Electronic drop-off locations include the Vernal Chamber Office and TriCounty Health Department. Items being accepted are batteries(excluding vehicle batteries), computers(but not CRT monitors), accessories, cameras, phones, stereos, copy machines, TVs, VCR’s, cartridges, laptops, and more. While it may seem random, the electronics recycling would usually take place at the same time as the live Christmas tree recycling event. Unfortunately, organizers have announced that this year there will be NO Christmas Tree recycling so plan to take your Christmas tree to the dump.
