After the holidays can be a great time to clear out the old, especially when bringing in the new. The Vernal Chamber announced that the annual Electronics Recycling event will begin on January 8th and run through January 31st. Electronic drop-off locations include the Vernal Chamber Office and TriCounty Health Department locations in Vernal and Roosevelt. Generally, items being accepted are batteries(excluding vehicle batteries), computers(but not CRT monitors), accessories, cameras, phones, stereos, copy machines, TVs, VCR’s, cartridges, laptops, and more. On the topic of recycling please note that tree recycling is taking place. You can take your live Christmas tree to 100 North 100 West in Vernal and leave it against the fence to be recycled.
