The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Wednesday, January 22nd, at approximately 3:37am, deputies responded to an auto accident involving a white Nissan Altima and a semi-trailer pup. The incident occurred at the Shell Convenience Store located at 94 East Main Street in Duchesne City. The driver of the Nissan Altima backed out of the parking lot and into the rear passenger side of the semi-trailer. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and there was no damage to the semi-truck or trailer. Due to the early hour, the accident had minimal impact on traffic. The investigation revealed no evidence of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
