Today is back to business as usual at Eagle View Elementary after a disrupted Monday routine. As buses arrived at school on Monday morning it was discovered that Eagle View did not have a running water supply. It was suspected that this was due to a frozen water supply line but it was too late to initiate Uintah School District’s late start protocol so instead the District sent out a message to Eagle View families to keep their students at home for virtual learning that day for safety and sanitation reasons. Families that had already sent students to school were asked to send an authorized person to pick them up and the students that were left were able to stay until regular release time. The District’s maintenance crews worked until the problem was fixed. In the late afternoon it was announced that the water was back on and Tuesday would be a regular school day with buses picking up children at their usual times.
