Dinosaur National Monument is embracing a new National Park Service policy. According to a press release issued on Monday, starting today, October 1st, visitors to Dinosaur National Monument will be allowed to use e-bikes where traditional bicycles are allowed. “Bicycles and e-bikes are allowed on paved and unpaved roads that are open to the public,” shares the announcement. “Bicycles and e-bikes are not allowed on any trails in the monument. There are no charging stations in the monument. This change in e-bike policy applies to private and commercial use in the monument.” National Park Service announced the new policy for national parks on August 30th. It was prompted by an order from U.S. Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt on August 29th that directed the DOI to create a consistent e-bike policy for all federal lands under their management.
