DWR: Open Position On Regional Advisory Council In Northeastern Region

by | Jun 6, 2024 | News | 0 comments

The DWR has announced that there is an open position on the Regional Advisory Council for northeastern Utah. Each of the five Regional Advisory Councils across Utah consists of 12 to 15 members, and those members — who are all unpaid volunteers — can serve up to four years on the council. Each RAC holds about six public meetings a year. At the meetings, RAC members discuss proposals that they have reviewed in advance from Utah Division of Wildlife Resources biologists about hunting, fishing and wildlife management in Utah. The opening for the northeastern region needs to be a candidate in the Agriculture group affiliation. Nominations for this position can be submitted at wildlife.utah.gov/rac-nomination
