It’s possible hunters will have a better chance at drawing a permit to hunt big game this fall, depending on the unit applied for. Division of Wildlife Resources biologists are recommending a permit increase for buck deer, buck pronghorn, bull moose, and Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep. As of March 19th, all the big game permit recommendations from the Division of Wildlife Resources should be available. “If you enjoy hunting or viewing big game, it’s a great time to live in Utah,” shares DWR big game coordinator Covy Jones. “The recommendations are arranged by unit so you can visit the web page and zero in on the units you applied for.” Visit
