DWR: Basic Licenses No Longer Printed And Mailed

by | Oct 15, 2024 | News | 0 comments

Effective immediately, the DWR will only be printing game permits that require physical tagging. Basic fishing, hunting, combination and other licenses will not be printed and mailed. You may use the DWR mobile app, use the receipt copy provided at the end of the transaction or contact a DWR office to obtain a copy. You can store your fishing, hunting, or combination license on your mobile device to quickly view information about your licenses and permits. This is also where you can download the hunting and fishing guidebooks and another helpful resource is you can view maps of your hunting unit and read legal boundary descriptions. The fall hunt is underway and all are reminded to visit a DWR check station to get your harvested deer tested for chronic wasting disease. Bobcat permits are available through October 31st with the season running November 14th through March 1st. Visit wildlife.utah.gov for more from the Division of Wildlife Resources.
