The issues and struggles of rural life often do not make waves in the public news arena. Well the month of July will change that. ABC4 Studio has a weekly television program called ‘The County Seat’ that focuses on important local issues in a longer format. The series plans to talk about the aftermath of the Dollar Ridge Fire. Restoration work is starting along the Strawberry River because of the flood and damage along the burn scar. Duchesne County has a 28 million dollar project that will clean and protect the water treatment plant to help the Starvation River. The series is broadcast Saturday Nights at 11pm and again on Sunday Mornings at 8:30am on KTVX and is then re-aired on local tv channels across the state.
