The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is calling out their own for the great work in getting drugs off the streets of Duchesne County. On Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Office shared that Deputy Derrick Kearney made a drug arrest over the weekend and thanked him for his contributions in keeping Duchesne County residents safe. Just weeks before that, the Sheriff’s Office shared publicly that another officer, Deputy C.J. Cox, initiated a traffic stop for an unilluminated plate light that ended with the arrest of one male and one female on drug and weapons charges. As law enforcement continues to focus on keeping Duchesne County safe, residents are encouraged to be vigilant and report suspicious activity.
